"... a display of sheer artistry of a kind that must surely earn Ms Gulyak a place among the world’s great concert pianists. This was a recital of the very highest class."

Sofya Gulyak

“From the very first notes of the Gershwin Concerto Pascal Rogé was totally, physically absorbed in the music … he remained poised over the flurry of fingers and ivories like an adrenalized cat studying a fishbowl, mapping strategy”

Pascal Rogé

"A young and brilliant pianist with an impeccable technical reliability and a reading charged with the most deeply rooted musical tradition. It is not only technique, but rather judgment, and a tempo that doesn't seek the brightness of velocity, but the tranquillity of profoundness".

Ishay Shaer

“Sivan Silver and Gil Garburg's playing was close to perfection: beautifully toned, expressive and transparent, with the utmost care for details and yet with structure and great momentum. Not less exciting was the encore which yet again demonstrated their world class.”

Sivan Silver & Gil Garburg

“Weithaas plays with vigour and power, als well as a willingness to stop and smell the flowers along the way. Her playing is lush and sweet-toned.”

Antje Weithaas

"It is absolutely evident just how much joy these musicians of 4.1 experience when they perform. The ensemble 4.1 not only plays in total harmony together, but their dedication to the music and the performance is shining through every note."

Ensemble 4.1

"The finest Brahms playing one could hope to hear" - "These four instruments are like a breath of fresh air on the chamber music scene.

Leipziger Streichquartett

“in Dvorak’s G major Quartet, Opus 106……It was a joy to witness the visual communication the quartet displayed with each other……if I had to single out one movement for praise, it would be the slow Adagio, in which the quartet’s glowing tone filled the entire gallery. The exciting finale was delivered with great panache. What a great start to the season.”

Piatti Quartet

"The sound quality of this disc is simply stunning: crisp, clear, almost razor-sharp in its realistic presentation of the string sound, and the equally crisp playing of Quartetto di Venezia makes it a pleasure to hear."

Quartetto di Venezia

"The Martha Müller Concert Hall in state of emergency: with the American violinist and composer Mark O’Connor, Camerata Bern celebrated a dazzling closing of its 49th season...Camerata-concertmistress Antje Weithaas has sat down with the cellist and seems to wonder, when the last time was that Bern had applauded four encores."

Camerata Bern

"A very vivid, distinctive and already legendary pianist"

Nick van Bloss

"A splendid performance guaranteed with the Berlinskaya-Ancelle duo which, by the virtue of their unified playing, is reflected by an irresistible interpretation marked by a wonderful sense of freshness and relief."

Berlinskaya - Ancelle duo

“These four musicians form a brilliant unit. They work together like a well-oiled machine, making music with a single, big beating heart.”

Rusquartet

"What a wealth of colours this orchestra produces when led by a masterful conductor!” (Het Gelders Orkest)

New to Squire Artists: Rusquartet

Rusquartet

Squire Artists is extremely pleased to announce that we will now be taking up the worldwide representation of the Rusquartet.

“The energetic, playful mood of the Allegretto vivo of Tchaikovsky’s Third String Quartet was beautifully expressed by the skilful musical interaction between the four members of Rusquartet. [...] During the poignant Andante funebre, one could hear a pin drop in the hall. Whether declamatory, solemnly homophonic or wistfully singing, every note was enveloped in empathy. Additionally, the foursome demonstrated some beautiful timbres.”

New to Squire Artists: Ludmila Berlinskaya & Arthur Ancelle

Ludmila Berlinskaya & Arthur Ancelle

It is with great pleasure that Squire Artists welcomes piano duo Ludmila Berlinskaya & Arthur Ancelle to its roster of performing artists.

"The evening was brilliant for several reasons, firstly thanks to the excellence of the two performers' playing, their musicality and their perfect techniques, then by the choice of the program. (...) Ludmila Berlinskaya and Arthur Ancelle succeed masterfully: they share the same general, intellectual and sensitive conception of the score. Their cohesion, their exceptional complicity and their intelligence of the text are astonishing and give a splendid and exciting result." - Alexandre Sorel - Pianiste (France)

New to Squire Artists: Nick van Bloss

Nick van Bloss

We are very happy to announce that we will now be taking up the worldwide representation of pianist Nick van Bloss.

"... Nick van Bloss can claim the remarkable achievement of creating a thoroughly distinctive sound. No one else matches the crystalline clarity of his fingering, his ability to find motifs and figures hidden in the textures, and his hypnotic driving sense of pulse...the English Chamber Orchestra is infected by his inspiration.” - George Pratt, BBC Music Magazine
