Sunday 17th of January 2016 was “Journée d’audition” during the “Biennale de Quatuors à Cordes” in Paris. This year 15 string quartets from America, Asia and Europe presented themselves to the artistic directors of major concert halls and festivals such as Aix-en-Provence, Amsterdam, Berlin, Brussels, Lisbon, Paris, Tokyo, Verbier and Vienna.

Dutch pianist and composer Thomas Beijer will have his first piano quartet 'Star of the Sea' performed for the very first time on Tuesday August 18th in the Compagnietheater in Amsterdam at the 2015 Grachtenfestival Amsterdam.

MoravianSouls WWvNDutch composer Willem Wander van Nieuwkerk will have his first string quartet 'Moravian Souls' performed for the very first time on Tuesday March 17th 2015 in the Broederkerk in Zeist by the Škampa Quartet for which it was especially written.
