Squire Artists is an international artist and concert agency. We provide personal management for renowned ensembles, soloists and conductors, as well as for emerging talent. We also create and organize concerts and festivals, manage public relations and marketing, attract sponsors and seek funding, and produce sound and video recordings. Over the years we have built up an international network with some of the most outstanding professionals in the field.

Our collaboration with concert promoters is based on trust, integrity and partnership, in which we develop exciting programming and content for venues and festivals that complements their artistic vision and audience development. A prime example of this is a three-day Schubert Festival, been hold last February, in collaboration with The Hague's main concert hall the Zuiderstrandtheater.

String quartets are and will always remain the core of Squire Artists’ list. We are delighted to have started working together recently with the Aris Quartett, multi-prize winner at the ARD Competition 2016, in addition to the French Quatuor Van Kuijk, First Prize winner of the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition in 2015, and the British Piatti Quartet.

We are very excited about our collaboration with Camerata Bern – one of Europe’s most prolific chamber orchestras – and, more recently, with the wonderful Quartetto di Venezia, the talented Amatis Piano Trio (BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artists 2016-18), renowned German violinist Antje Weithaas, exciting Ensemble 4.1 and the Italian conductor Gioele Muglialdo, who excels in accompanying silent movies and has been enchanting audiences all over Europe with his Cinema in Concert project.

Together with a well-balanced group of pianists (Pascal Rogé, Sofya Gulyak and Ishay Shaer), the Amsterdam Chamber Soloists and other familiar names, we are steadily working on building up an inspiring roster of soloists and ensembles under personally involved management.

Roelof Jonker

Well into the latter part of the 20th century I was totally immersed in music and artists management. Those we represented included Elly Ameling, Andrei Nikolsky, Nathalie Stutzmann, Noël Lee, Ruud van der Meer, Marc-André Hamelin, the Grieg Trio, and the Vogler Quartet - with annual concert series in the Amsterdam Concertgebouw - sponsor partnerships with Aegon, ING, Shell ... in short, exciting times!

Providing musicians with the necessary support, making traditional and innovative plans and bringing these to fruition, developing long-lasting relationships with concert organizers and audiences ... once again these aspects form the ultimate artistic and business challenges, for both Squire Artists and myself.
